<Poem>
少小離家老大回，
鄉音無改鬢毛衰。
兒童相見不相識，
笑問客從何處來。
<End Poem>
<Translation>
When I was young I left home;
now that I’m old I’ve come back.
My local accent hasn’t changed
but the hair on my temples is wispy.
When children meet me they
don’t know who I am –
They laugh and ask, ‘Where have
you come from, stranger?’
